Voice for the voiceless

Drug Abuse

Young people who persistently abuse substances often experience an array of problems, including academic difficulties, health-related problems (including mental health), poor peer relationships, and involvement with the juvenile justice system. Additionally, there are consequences for family members, the community, and the entire society.

  1. To help address this, there is a need to start  Mentorship Program for youth.
  2. The purpose of the Mentorship Program is to create awareness amongst our youths.
  3. For them to address issues in a healthy and productive manner. We strive to achieve this by up scaling them, as one would an actual counselor.
  4. We will provide them with tools to deal with and assist each other in dealing with certain social issues that ultimately lead to destructive behavior and often to addiction.
  5. Practical and methodical PROGRAM where they receive a Certificate of Completion and a Certified Mentor Certificate on successful completion of the program
